And they have spent hours talking with author Paul Zollo, the result of those conversations being Paul's book, an essential collection of interviews titled "Songwriters on Songwriting."

It's a screening of a rare archival 35 mm print of the landmark 1970 Russ Meyer camp-tastic carnival of carnal freakouts. Plus, guest of honor Chaz Ebert will present “Siskel & Ebert” memories and outtakes, ‘60s psych rockers The Strawberry Alarm Clock will reunite to perform live, beyond bombshell Erica Gavin and the film’s groovy music team Stu Phillips and Igo Kantor will be there in-person, and they'll have DJs, booze and dancing. In June of 1996, the "Kate Wolf Retrospective Concert" was held to celebrate the music of the late Kate Wolf. Her friends, family, and a sold-out crowd had such a wonderful time that they decided to make it an annual event. The "Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival" started as a one day, one time event.

Now in its 17th year, the festival has grown to a three day, three night, camping event at beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, 3 hours north of San Francisco. This marks the 12th year at Black Oak Ranch for the Festival.
