This year’s festival is slated to be the best yet. That'll take some doing. Last year’s Festival screened a diverse set of nearly 200 feature films, shorts and music videos, representing more than 30 countries, along with signature programs such as our intimate Coffee Talks, live music events, free community screenings, a Dirty Dancing Dance-A-Long and 30th Anniversary screenings of "E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial" and "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan."

Thom Bresh is rated as one of the top guitarists in the world. He's a singer with a voice firmly rooted in the deep south, and a great live performer who has recorded and performed with Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Merle Haggard, Doc Watson, Tommy Emmanuel, and of course his late father, Merle Travis, and many others.  The Guide saw Thom last week at the Coffee Gallery Backstage. This concert is highly recommended.
