7 pm  "VOICES OFF THE WALLS, MUSIC OFF THE WALLS" is an offering in USC's "VISIONS & VOICES" series on the University Park Campus at USC Fisher Museum of Art (HAR on online campus map), on the main USC campus in L.A.

Admission is free and a reception follows. Reservations required. Use the email address below to get on the waiting list; it's free, and officially sold-out, but your chances to get in are good.

Pianist Victoria Kirsch and fellow USC Thornton School of Music alumni perform tonight's concert of vocal and instrumental music inspired by the artworks on display in the USC Fisher Museum of Art's current exhibition, "Drawn to Language," running Sep 3 through Dec 7. It features five contemporary artists who explore the relationship between visual art and literature.

Victoria Kirsch curates and performs a wide range of text-based musical programs in a variety of local, regional and national venues. She serves as music director of the Los Angeles–based Operetta Foundation and OperaArts in the Coachella Valley. She has played "Diva on the Verge" at L’Opéra Comique in Paris, the Peacock Theatre in London, L’Opéra de Monte-Carloin Monaco and venues in Hawaii, San Francisco and the U.S. east coast, in addition to sold-out runs at the Odyssey Theatre in West Los Angeles. Recent Diva tours have included shows in Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Recent tours of Franz Schubert have included Los Angeles, Greece, Turkey and New Caledonia. Kirsch was a vocal faculty member of the USC Thornton School of Music from 2000 to 2003, and she has been a faculty member of the Malibu-based "SongFest" since 2007.
