News & Events: Invitation for Sunday’s “Celebrity Caroling,” & Tuesday’s Tunefulness, Dec 3, 2013

.
Before we get to tonight’s live music scene, we have an invitation for you to take part part in something wonderful:
..

♪   INVITATION TO MUSICIANS and all who LOVE TO SING: Join celebrities in the meaningful and purposeful "32nd ANNUAL LOS ANGELES HOLIDAY CAROLING FESTIVITIES"

Bring joy to shut-ins and their care-givers, and meet and perform with music legends!

It happens Sunday, DECEMBER 8, 2013

Some VERY famous musicians join actors, TV and motion picture stars, broadcasters, journalists, and even politicians, at 6 senior care centers to perform 4-7:30 pm on Sunday. It's a "modular schedule" that allows you to arrive/depart at your discretion. It happens at prearranged locations in the West San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.

And, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING the scheduled caroling, all musicians / singers / participants are invited to socialize and dine at the nearby HomeTown Buffet Restaurant (at VanOwen & Fallbrook) in Canoga Park, from 7:30-9:30 pm. (And you will WANT to be there to mix 'n mingle with fellow musicians, some QUITE accomplished and famous!)

This is an INVITATION TO TRADITION and to doing something meaningful that allows you to perform with stars. And this community service project is open to entertainers, singers, and musicians of all talent levels and ages.

A full media blitz promoting the event is being launched to major Los Angeles metro radio, television, and newspaper outlets, music media, local church bulletins, and more.

Is this some hardcore "Christian thing?" No. Jewish Hanukkah songs are featured, and this functions effectively to bring joy to audience members who respond to the holidays in a secular way, as well.

To view the special documentary (11:34) on the "2012 Los Angeles Holiday Caroling Festivities," produced by Smile TV and featuring honoree Alan O’Day, go to:

http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=MU2vKrh7i6M

This year's event is being celebrated in memory of the late Alan O’Day (#1 hit song, "Undercover Angel"), a longtime and prominent performer of the Los Angeles Holiday Caroling Festivities troop (from 1997 thru 2012), with his wife Yuka and friends.

The event's audience will see this one, live, show this year. Think about that.

All effort given to support, promote, and participate in this heart-warming activity is appreciated -- especially since your celebrity name, contribution, music, and presence helps promote the theme and enhance the festivities for all involved.

Please RSVP, ASAP, to the event's producer (info below) and if pertinent, provide authorization to use your name on the invitation, website, press release etc.

If you are unable to attend, please take this encouragement to gather your own group, or to go individually, and visit your local senior centers or residential facilities for shut-ins. This simple act of kindness can make a difference and add true meaning for all, through and beyond the holiday season

The Acoustic Americana Music Guide proudly supports this event every year. In addition, we always find our participation to be profoundly and personally meaningful. And we add our invitation to that from the producer, and encourage you to take part!
