Here’s the big ol’ LIVE music scene, and assorted other arts events for your Saturday & Sunday. Yep. Last chance for normalcy until early next year.

We’ll return in a few days with NEWS FEATURES. (Still recovering from injuries, so be patient.)

THIS DAY IN HISTORY
<^>-<^>-<^>-<^>-<^>-<^>-<^>-<^>-<^>

Fifty-one years ago today, November 22, 1963, America and the world lost the future. The youthful vigor and brave hopes, of a time that would subsequently come to be known as Camelot, ended when President John F. Kennedy was murdered by an assassin while riding in an open-topped car in a motorcade through the streets of Dallas, Texas. It wasn’t simply who and what was lost that day, or even all it represented. America’s last time of bright promise was torn asunder and as five years of assassinations ensued, initial and rekindled hopes were replaced with suspicion and rampant conspiracy theories that continue – about everything – to this day.
