57th Annual TOPANGA BANJO FIDDLE CONTEST & FOLK FESTIVAL STILL NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

.
.
It's been a strange year. Injuries and illnesses among the usual cadre of mover 'n shaker festival staffers, and a highly regarded board member dying. So, the best one-day folk fest anywhere -- which is also the place to experience thrills and inspiration by watching and hearing contestants who come from all over the US and Canada -- needs VOLUNTEERS.

It happens THIS SUNDAY, May 21st, in and adjacent to the Old West movie town at Paramount Ranch, in Agoura Hills, in the Santa Monica Mountains Nat'l Recreation Area.

So, picture that old Uncle Sam poster, but with the star-spangled guy holding a banjo. Because the thing is, "We Want YOU!" -- To attend of course, to enjoy for sure, and to volunteer a couple hours if you can. Vols get in free. For all the deets, and to sign-up, contact

See ya Sunday!
