Here are the details on "WILD WEST DAY" 2017.

May 6, 2017:
"WILD WEST DAY" at the L.A. Co. Arboretum, 301 N Baldwin Av, Arcadia, CA 91007; 626-821-3222; www.arboretum.org/events/wild-west-day
✔ TIX: Adults $9; Students with ID & and Seniors age 62 and older, $6; Children ages 5-12 $4; Children under age 5 are free. The festival is included with arboretum admission; there are fees for some activities.
✔ CAMPING: No.
✔ THE SCENE: They recommend "cowboy and cowgirl attire." This one-day fest, 10 am-4 pm, features Western music, stage coach rides, a western BBQ, children's activities, living history demonstrations of blacksmithing, telegraph communications, weaving, and more. There are Queen Anne Cottage tours (the house from TV's "Fantasy Island") and Rose garden tours. Special festival exhibits include operating calliopes, cowboy artifacts, and Victorian clothing. There are open house activities in the old Santa Fe Ry santa Anita Depot and the coach barn. Children can pan for gold, do roping and play horseshoes, learn ranch crafts and telegram writing.
