SECOND...
RON SARFATY BENEFIT CONCERT is May 5
.
The Guide ran a full feature story in our NEWS edition on April 20, listing all the musicians slated to perform -- and they include Grammy and other top award-winners and nominees. Time to hear from one of the performers.
+
LAUREN ADAMS says, "I will be appearing at the RON SARFATY BENEFIT Event on May 5th at The Talking Stick in Venice. I am opening the show with one song so if you wanna see it, be there at 7 pm! There will be a cavalcade of artists to play in support of Ron who is a talented artist himself and a friend to all of us. He has been videotaping musicians for free for years now and is a true fan and supporter of local indies. Ron had an accident and totaled his van with all the special gear and lifts that he needs to get around. We are hoping to raise enough dough to help him get a new one."

If you can't be there, here's a link to donate to his Sweet Relief Account: https://www.sweetrelief.org/program/ron-sarfaty-fund/

Tue, Apr 30, in Culver City:

Cliff says, "Well, me and Dev are movin' down the road to greener pastures. Before we go, we will do a show with AMILIA K. SPICER, the cutest little songwriter you ever did see. She will be breaking hearts at 9 pm. Hope to see you there!"
+
Indeed, Amilia has performed at festivals all over the world, and shared stages with some of the biggest names in folk-Americana music.
+
This series is (was) no-cover, and the only compensation the performers receive is from the tip jar. Keep that in mind if you go for this farewell, AND when you attend a similar show (anyplace) where the artists' really need a full tip jar to put some gas in the tank to be able to come back.
