It will go live* to over ONE BILLION PEOPLE around the world from Madison Square Garden in New York City on December 12, 2012, at 7:30 pm ET. It will dominate US and international networks and television feeds worldwide, plus radio and online streaming.

ERIC CLAPTON,  BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E STREET BAND,  PAUL McCARTNEY,  BILLY JOEL,and  THE WHO  are part of a superstar lineup including  BON JOVI,   ROGER WATERS,  EDDIE VEDDER,  DAVE GROHL,  and more,  and the inevitable pop singers including Alicia Keys, Chris Martin,  and Kanye West, are all performing.
+
The concert will be broadcast live* across all media platforms, online globally, on TV stations around the world, and on radio.
+
That includes an astonishing 34 US networks, plus TV feeds to North and South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia, plus live broadcast via a global network of even more international television stations, Clear Channel radio stations, and many leading web sites. +
The producers of "12-12-12: The Concert For Sandy Relief" announced last week the added dimension that the show will STREAM LIVE from Madison Square Garden. That helps make credible the massive number of anticipated viewers. Just keep in mind that overloaded websites crash. Best to choose a TV option.
+
Tune in. When you do, lend a hand: give a few bucks to folks in need. And what better gift to you, in return, then this "We are the world" for our time?
+
The Guide expects this will achieve its promotional hyperbole, and indeed be "a legendary event."

Halligan's entertaining solo show is highly acclaimed. A composer, arranger and performer of music for film and television, as well as jazz, chamber music and popular idioms, he takes his audiences on a fascinating journey through 60 prolific years of interpreting and creating American music.
+
A gifted performer and raconteur, Halligan shares fascinating stories about his early influences and musical development, his days as a rock star with BS&T, and his courageous effort to understand the psychological complexities that came along with his exceptional aptitude for music.
+
He says, "My story is played, sung, and spoken, and shown in the light of my many years of musical experiences. It reveals something of the mystery of how I arrived at where I am today. I touch upon music that has struck me and stimulated my imagination through the '40s, '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s and the 2000s,until now. And I tell my side of the story of who I am."
