The Learning Garden observes the shortest day of the year, with warm drinks and an outdoor fireplace, observing the end of the old year and preparing for the new year. One of the oldest human holiday observances occurs without purchases, gifts or frantic hustle. Simple and meaningful and a lovely tradition right in the middle of our modern holiday madness.
