There is an enormous amount to cover, and while that's always true, it's multiplied and magnified and amplified this time of year. We're reporting for our first time on CES, the massive Consumer Electronics Show, and that coverage begins later today. There's a lot at CES in the world of new devices related to music.
Of course we'll bring you MUCH more about the latest developments and other things you might have missed in the music industry, and more. As always, when it's at its best, music is a multifaceted shining jewel, and each surface, large or small, can manifest and sparkle and uniquely shine its own light, bringing oohs and ahhs and inspiration and things you'll suddenly be obsessed to learn. As always, beyond simple cameras, we'll do our best to capture some of that light so we can share it with you.
Stay tuned. Major news coverage coming soon.

UPDATE, THURSDAY, JAN. 8th:
Our reports and the major new edition in which they are contained are ALL delayed. The editor's painfully injured arm is, for now, preventing him from staying on the keyboard long enough to prepare the new edition. Check back, and we'll have all of it for you as soon as possible.

The ACOUSTIC AMERICANA MUSIC GUIDE endeavors to bring you NEWS and views of interest to artists everywhere, more specifically to musicians and the creative community, and music makers and fans of acoustic and Folk-Americana music, both traditional and innovative. We provide a wealth of resources, including a HUGE catalog of acoustic-friendly venues, and schedules of performances in Southern California venues large and small. We cover workshops and other events for artists and folks in the music industry, and all kids o’ things in the world of acoustic and Americana and accessible classical music. From washtub bass to musical spoons to oboe to viola to banjo to squeezebox, from Djangostyle to new-fangled-old-time string band music, from sweet Cajun fiddle to pre-bluegrass Appalachian mountain music to proto blues.
