GUIDE QUICKIE: Music on TV tonight, Monday, April 4, 2016...

.
.
There's an hour of TRADITIONAL FOLK AMERICANA MUSIC tonight on your teevee!

We're accustomed to KLCS being L.A.'s best presenter of concerts — and club and studio gigs — shot for a tv audience. And they win that recognition for always being there on Friday nights. It must be getting an enthusiastic audience response, 'cause lately they've been expanding. Tonight, Monday, they offer a full evening of music.

Here's what's in store...

"DAVID HOLT'S STATE OF MUSIC" (2016) brings traditional music's modern masters sharing songs and stories in this new series. Bryan Sutton, Josh Goforth, Riannon Giddens, Bruce Molsky, Lena Mae Perry & Wilbur Tharpe, and Balsam Range perform in the opener.

8-9 pm tonight, Monday, on KLCS; re-airs 3-4 am.

__________

Plus, you might want to watch these...

"INFINITY HALL LIVE" (2015) is a performance by guitar great ROBBEN FORD. 7-8 pm on KLCS. Re-airs 2-3 am.

"LIVE FROM THE ARTISTS DEN" (2016) brings HOZIER. 9-10 pm on KLCS. Re-airs 4-5 am.

"THE KATE" (2016) brings British singer-songwriter BARB JUNGR from the Katherine Hepburn Theatre. 10-11 pm. Re-airs on Sunday, 9-10 pm on KCET Link.
