The big edition was published yesterday and it features all the September FESTIVALS from the Guide's huge database.
BUT, we realized we know about some good stuff that isn't in those other music calendars, and we didn't tell you about it. So (drum roll....) here's the Guide's lil' "extra" edition (sans newsboy yelling on the street corner). It's just for those other THINGS YOU CAN DO on Sunday and Monday of THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND (including some excellent FREEBIES!) So here ya go.

Sunday, Sep 3 is the 2nd annual "L.A. FLEET WEEK" with active US Navy vessels open to visitors in the harbor at San Pedro, Thu, Aug 31–Mon, Sep 4.

* MUSIC FEST on SUNDAY aboard the Battleship Iowa, docked as a museum adjacent to the Cruise Ship Terminal, at 250 S Harbor Bl, San Pedro, CA 90731.
* The Iowa's music fest runs Noon-10:30 pm, with two stages on-board the ship and performances as follows:
* Port Stage:
12 pm - DJ
1:30 pm - Comedy & Magic
2 pm - Classic Rockers
3:30 pm - Military Band
* Delta Air Lines Stage Line Up:
5 pm - Mirage (Tribute to Fleetwood Mac)

* Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately. No folding chairs, no coolers or outside food and beverages allowed. Donations for the continued operation of the floating museum are greatly appreciated.
* The Port's on-shore concert area opens at 9 am. The Delta Air Lines Stage area (aboard the Iowa) opens at 4:30 pm.
* Food trucks will be on-site adjacent to the Iowa and the ship's on-board "Sailor’s Bar" will sell beverages.

7 pm FREE, the final concert of the season at Levitt Pavilion in memorial Park, Pasadena, brings the wonderful blueswoman BARBARA MORRISON (7-8:30 pm) on the main stage, with opener THE DEBRA DAVIS BAND (6-6:45 pm) on the Sidestage.
* A Levitt Favorite year after year, Barbara Morrison's performance is a big deal any time, especially when you can see her for free. Originally from Detroit, Barbara Morrison's twenty-year career as a performer and recording artist includes appearances worldwide with some of the greatest names in jazz:She has performed with artists such as; Ray Charles, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Collette, Joe Williams, Gerald Wiggins, Jimmy Witherspoon, Hank Crawford, Eddie Harris, Nancy Wilson, David T.
