5-7 pm “THE GRADUATE” (1967) won Oscars and contains plenty of SIMON & GARFUNKLE music. Considered a classic about generation gaps and seduction by what we now call “leopards” – older women going after young men. It is odd in the context of its time, because DUSTIN HOFFMAN – the graduate – does not face a single word about the draft or the possibility he may be sent to Vietnam, and those were the real worries of that time. On TCM.
