6-8 pm (Pacific)  "FOLKSCENE" airs a special 40th ANNIVERSARY SHOW compiled from The FolkScene Archives, co-produced by the show's longtime enginer Peter Cutler and founding co-host Roz Larman.

Roz says, "You will hear performances from DON McLEAN, JOAN BAEZ, RANDY NEWMAN, STEVE GOODMAN and others."

The show airs on 90.7 FM KPFK Los Angeles, 98.7 Santa Barbara, 93.7 San Diego & 99.5 Ridgecrest/China Lake. The web simulcast is at www.kpfk.org.

I like the new picture and the message that goes with it. Memorial day should bring thoughtful expressions like that, not the knee jerk things so prevalent elsewhere

From thethe editor: Just realized that when the above comment was moderated and posted, it had no punctuation at the end of its sentence. That creates the impression that the comment writer was being critical of the "FolkScene" radio show. That person was not. Neither is that the editor's intent. I should have inserted a period at the end of the sentence on behalf of the writer. But now that's posted, I can't edit it.
