A 5 pm ukulele workshop at the Grammy Museum and two performances (one a showcase) are tonight's highlights.
.
Tonight's weekly "SONGWRITERS SERENADE," 7-10 pm, brings MANDA MOSHER, PHIL WARD, AUTUMN LEE, MICHAEL McEWAN, IAN GOETHE, and performing host JC HYKE, to Matt Denny's Ale House in Arcadia for acoustic sets. It's in the pleasant covered courtyard, no cover, but venue is a restaurant and bar, so plan to buy something.
.
At the GRAMMY Museum's Clive Davis Theatre, at 7:30 pm, it's Hawai'ian music legend DANIEL HO performing before the screening of "MY KOALOHA STORY, the latest in the museum's "Reel to Real" series. Koaloha Ukulele ownee ALVIN OKANI, whose multigenerational story is told in the film, is joined by family members from their acclaimed uke factory.

The two present a WORKSHOP FOR ARTISTS at 5 pm, titled , UKULELE 101." Proceeds from both events benefit the museum. More, including ticket info, is in the Guide.

There's MUCH more, as always, in the latest full edition of the Acoustic Americana Music Guide ... latest is the August 24 edition of "Spotlight Events" and it's available below or in the sidebar at left, depending on which edition you are reading.
