Tonight at 7:45 pm in L.A., it's the return of "FREEBO & FRIENDS" featuring ROBERT TEPPER, FUZZBEE MORSE, & CHAD WATSON, who now comprise Freebo's very formidable band, playing at Genghis Cohen, 740 N Fairfax, just N of Melrose. Freebo tells us, "This will be our 3rd month in a row, and we've been ROCKIN'...and recording live....be there!"

RONSTADT GENERATIONS y LOS TUCSONENCES (yes, THOSE Ronstadts), play a special 6 pm "Concert and Mixer" sponsored by the Antelope Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, at the lovely Larry Chimbole Cultural Center, 38350 Sierra Hwy, Palmdale 93550.

The musical Ronstadts are on more records than you can count, by LINDA RONSTADT, LOS LOBOS, THE DIXIE HUMMINGBIRDS, MURIEL ANDERSON, BIG BAD VOODOO DADDY, SANTA CRUZ RIVER BAND, and countless others.

Take the 14 Fwy to Palmdale Bl exit; go right. Pass Sierra Hwy and enter the first driveway on the right, into the Civic Center / Library parking lot. Venue is the large building just S of the Spanish-style library. Reservations, 661-538-0607. Mixer starts at 6 pm. Tix, $25.
