What began as a " Saturday morning web radio quickie," with an intention of "More on the way," is as much as we can offer. That, AND the WEEKEND FESTIVALS already covered in Friday's edition, are still easily available just below (or in the sidebar at left). We are experiencing "data transfer protocol" issues. Those particular gremlins, if you don't know, are akin to striking a reef and running aground, or losing your rope on an airy pitch high up a cliff, or finding the spare tire has no air. Alas, you're on your own. But those festival listings should be of some consolation. Some. And to think, alllll the vast amount of data on this weekend's concerts and events that we had on hand, ready to format and publish for you. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.

...we don't want you to miss this stay-at-home Saturday morning event...

Sat, Jul 13, on broadcast & web radio:
9-10 am (Pacific) "BLUE PLATE SPECIAL " WDXV's much-loved live music show, hosted by Red Hickey, brings live performing guests from Knoxville, Tennessee.
+
Today's guests include the JON HOGAN BAND from Texas, and Jon calls it "a gig anyone, anywhere can attend. It's a radio show, an internet stream, a free live concert on a theater stage in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee! We'll have a shout-out of love for our Texas and Kerrville Folk Fest family. We hope to do you proud."
+
The landmark show is an institution at noon Eastern. The rest of us just to adjust earlier, as in Jon's caution, "that's 11 in Texas, y'all."
+
Sharing the hour is RYAN THOMAS OYER, a solo rocker and a fine Chattanooga songwriter.
+
Catch it at www.wdvx.com. Anyone nearby can be there live at the Knoxville Visitor's Center, 301 S Gay St.
+
"Blue Plate Special" has a Facebook page you can "Like." As Jon Hogan says, "It's one of the great American radio traditions and we are much honored to be there. DALE WATSON played there this week; holy smoke, the list of artists who've played BPS just blows us away. We're humbled, honored and excited. See you on the air."

Hope you get it fixed. Purely for selfish reasons.
