Kim says, "I'll be highlighting a lot of independent artists, with a few old psychedelic and country songs thrown in for good measure."
+
Her first show debuts Monday, December 17, and repeats all week, Mon-Thurs from 11 am to Noon. Subsequent shows will stream, new, each Monday, then repeat through the week on the same schedule.
+
She tells us, "I don't have my [radio show’s web] page up yet, but I wanted to get the news out there."

c) HAPPY CHANUKAH, or Hanukah, to our readers celebrating the Festival of Lights!
.
d) And, as CHRISTMAS approaches…
+
We have a suggestion: try not to get absorbed in crass commercialism / consumerism; take a moment to reflect on who and what are really important in your life – and on the incredible fact of simply being here, with the ability to entertain and to listen and to create and comprehend and share creativity with one another. Hmmm, just think: if that were to take hold, plenty of folks could get their “wow!” back… and THAT would be quite a Christmas gift!

In January of 2004, Led Zeppelin guitarist JIMMY PAGE himself attended a Led Zepagain show at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. This encounter led to the members of Led Zepagain attending Led Zeppelin's 2007 Reunion Concert at London's O2 Arena and a surprise visit from JASON BONHAM in March of 2009 as he sat in with the band on their encore performance of the song "Rock and Roll." Lincoln Myerson, McCabe’s booker, says, “The year goes by so fast, doesn't it? Once again, it's time to round up the little ones and tell all the neighbors, McCabe's is putting on a Holiday Show. What does that mean? It means that the talented musicians who happen to teach and work here, along with some other special guest performers, will take to the stage in near-spontaneous expressions of seasonal joy, in an effort to entertain you and yours and whoever else shows up. We'll also put out snacks and drinks and stuff, and this bountiful feast for all the senses will be provided completely free of charge! No joke, kids, and we do it every year, if you can believe that. All you have to do is show up and enjoy.” Free.
