FRIDAY Concerts, the word on FESTIVALS, and more…

.
.
Friday is loaded with CONCERTS and special one-night film screenings and all kinds o’ non-festival stuff. So much stuff, it needs its own edition. So here ya go.

There are sooo many ways to celebrate the solstice on Saturday, marking the official arrival of summer, and just being able to enjoy live music and, well, being alive – soooo many ways that it would be incomprehensible without your trusty Guide. We’ve got the map and compass and the crumpled Indie hat, and the steeds are saddled-up.

’Ceptin’ that when we started putting the whole shebang together, it became so big that you’d likely be scrolling longer than you want to.

Fact is, there is so gol’ durn much a-goin’ on, we’ve published this edition with JUST FRIDAY concerts and arts events, and there’s a SEPARATE edition with Saturday & Sunday that includes alllll those FESTIVALS (and Saturday & Sunday concerts and such, too).

In addition to all the very many “here-and-now” events this weekend, we have updated TICKET ALERTS, too, IN THIS EDITION, to help you plan even more.

Now, you’re up to speed. Qualified. Good ta go. Reckon you should get aboard, so we CAN.

Their latest recording project as a duo is a series of 5-song explorations into the works of artists Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Cole Porter, Hank Williams, and The Cars.
