Tickets at the door only if space permits. Creativity, brain-storming and collaboration workshop. Be prepared for a fun and engaging two hours with a unique resource in our music community. JoAnn has been guiding and supporting creative individuals on their career paths for 20+ years.

Topics include: The Inner Critic -- What it is and how to manage it and put it to much better use. How Ideas Are Formed -- A practical explanation of where we get stuck (and how to get 'unstuck') during the brain-storming process. Career Path Patterns -- The 'corporate ladder' model often doesn't apply to creative people. There are three other patterns that help define a more appropriate career path for those in the arts. JoAnn Braheny has a deep background in the music business. She was the first full-time female radio disc jockey in Atlanta where she got her Bachelor’s degree at Georgia State University in Commercial Music & Recording. In LA since 1980, she has worked in record promotion, music publishing, and public relations with internationally-known actors, songwriters, musicians and celebrities. She also worked with visual artists in Talent Development for Walt Disney Imagineering. For 20 years she's worked part-time at The Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Specializing in giving workshops on the creative process, brainstorming and collaboration techniques, she presents 'Goosing Your Muse' Creativity Seminars, nationwide.
